I was told that Tune ECU can raise the RPMs above 7000, but was not told how.

Can anyone explain how this can be done?
Thanks.

As far as I know Tune ecu cannot either way even if it did there is no higher rpm map cells to program air quantities F & L tables, A/F ratios, or ignition timing. Wayne From Tune boy writes his own software for the Beast which is why Carpenter Racing uses them.

Pistons should be safe to 7500ish. The top of the motor on the other hand....

I've run the stock pistons and cam/valve system to 8000 rpms with no failure. although you are taking a wee bit of a chance with the over the bucket shims.

9000 rpm many times, no issues, with the Carpenter package. well not with he motor end, anyway.

The adjustment is in the Parameters on the Map Edit tab. You read your map. Make adjustments then download revised map.
