Radiator overflow hose !!!

Thanks for adding the pictures Marty; they help guys like me tremendously. The black reservoir with sight tube looks like it will be a big improvement over all; please let us if you find issues with it as I think I would like to make the swap on my bike. And you've got a good looking R3 there. Welcome to the forum!

I bought the tank for $75 on eBay

Ok guys finally got time to do the coolant overflow tank install
All up 3 hours in time .
I ended up using the original bracket that holds the factory overflow tank.
Let me know what you think.

I need to check on if my Classic can support such a overflow bottle in that location. I like how that's tucked in; and visible right behind the radiator. I need to relocate my overflow; it's a huge pain in the arse to remove if from the OEM air filter housing and drain, and check.

Hey willtill

What number are those pods? they look awesome .
Do they hit your knee when you ride?

The are K&N RX 4040-1 and no, the rear one doesn't hit my knee unless I try to grip the tank. I have angled them up and forward with bent PVC adapter couplings and rubber couplings; spray painted with black Plasti-Dip rubberized coating (Thanks to rkt88 for that idea btw...). I send you a link of this air filter aftermarket modification; but we've seemed to have lost our ability to search for posts prior to Nov 2013.

A wealth of information concerning our Rockets and modifications, and solutions to problems; seemingly lost from this board. I think Bishop was going to re-index the database to solve it but have no idea where that is at.

Here's another angle so you can get a better idea:
