Here’s a question anyone can answer. How fast have you had your ride up to? R3...R3r...doesn’t matter. How much jam do you have? I’ve been up to 210 klm on my naked Kawi VN 2000. That’s hard to do when you have no shield, and your sitting upright, arms stretched apart. But that was 80 pounds n 15 years ago. The first season...2021 on my R3r I tried to reach 200 klm many times. Although it would only take seconds on this bike to do that, the congested traffic in my area, and the crazy vibration on this bike made that goal virtually unattainable. Probably could have done it if my jam nads hadn’t shrunk just that much with age. But don’t be quick to call me old. No scared old dude buys a R3r. Pls post your ride, and your best klm jam !

I had my old 06 over 217 fully loaded up with gear from a rally.

Still had plenty of revs left.

Meetup with @Tal afterwards and cruised home together.

I do have a picture of it somewhere of the bike loaded up.

I will admit to 145 mph on the Bonneville Salt flats. Probably had 25 pounds of salt on the bike afterwards.
Going out on the salt clean.

Coming back off the salt dirty.

Took it to a local self serve car wash in Wendover to get the salt off.

Very cool pics. Thx eh. That’s super fast on something loose like salt. Are the flats really smooth n level enough to ride at insane speeds ?
