Steering damper as required by regulation for Maxton. Yes, it's "Rock" solid (tested to 150 MPH so far). Scotts rotary damper has independently adjustable circuits for low and high speed damping. Worthwhile (but expensive) mod for "Ton and a Half" club riders. :D

which one fits the rocket? unless i'm mistaken, there isn't a listing for the rIII.....

I used the Scotts TT600 kit, but modifications were required to both mount blocks and 1 hole drilled and tapped in R3 frame.

did the damper assembly fit over the original headset nut? or does it have one to install for fitment..... just wondering.. it's a very nice set-up. and yes, a bit pricey, but still worth it.

p.s. did you fly cut the bottom of the anchor block and the pin stay?

Flipper, you tell me. Why would Hombre want to mix with us commoners?

Just because Walt pursues his hobby with more vigor than say you or I don't mean he puts his pants on any different than you or I do...one leg at a time.

I find Walt to be an interesting an engaging person and I'd love to talk shop with him. I know rich people and poor people but they are all people just the same.

Just because your camper is a Prevost don't make you a snob or because you live in a cardboard box in an alley don't make you a bum. There is a story behind everything and everybody. That's what makes the world go around and I enjoy hearing those stories.

I've met some very socially and intellectually engaging people who don't have a pot to piss in or a bucket to throw it out with and just the opposite too. It's all about what makes us people.

Even if Walt trailered the bike to ES from Maxton, that wouldn't be bad. I actually don't expect him to ride the bike there. I wouldn't. I want to see it close up, hear it run, feel the charisma the engine exudes.....Walt knows what I'm talking about....that's why he built the bike. It isn't about going fast or the 200 MPH club. It's about having something different. Different is what brings us all together. We all ride a different
brand. None of use ride cookie cutter bikes. if we wanted cookie cutter, we all could have bought Harley's but we didn't. That's why we are different, just like Walt.

I'd be impressed if he did trailer HIS beast to ES. I'll have the wife dragging a trailer. She doesn't travel well but she wants to be there and I don't want her to drive/be alone the entire trip.

Flipper, you said: "That's why we are different, just like Walt." That's funny! I don't care who you are
