Weird, I went to respond to this thread and it automatically picked up a quote. So I erased it and will see if this goes through.

Anyhow it is 1556 miles down, which is not an issue BUT my dealerships mileage contest ends October 5th!!!!! Darn.....

I am going to try and make it. Guess I will just have to get some heated stuff in case we have snow on my way home

Update:

Just got home from the hill country and while I was there I stopped in at the Frio Pecan Farm. Beautiful place, so unless someone has major heartburn with it here are the official details for RAA Texas...

Important: When you call to make reservations tell them you are with RAA Texas or they will probably tell you they don't have any vacancy.

If you plan on coming you need to contact Frio Pecan Farm and make reservations by July 1st. We have 15 cabins blocked out for our use, but they will release them to the general public after July 1. This place fills up pretty quickly for weekends in the spring and the fall so I would say that if you want to come you should make your reservation before July 1. All cabins are 2 bedroom...some have 1 bath and some have 2 baths. Each cabin also has a sleeper sofa.

The other option that we have is to rent the River House that holds a maximum of 28 people and has some amenities that may be of interest to the group. We have a little bit of time, but if we want to book the house I need to let them know pretty quick.

All right... Got my reservations made!.. The smallest they have is a 2 bedroom cabin. I will be by myself, so if anyone is interested, I have room for a room mate to help split the cost. So come on! It's been a few years since I made an RAA.. Definitely looking forward to it! AND.. even though I live the closest, I've never tackled all three sisters!... I've only done one of them!

Count me in. I ride the sister's 3 or 4 times a year. My Rocket has been down so I have made the trip twice this year on the Harley. The only way to ride the Sister's is on the Rocket!!
