Oh, that was a pick of the stepper motor (arrow). I definitely would want air filters. I wonder where your air temp sensor is. Originally it's in the stock air plumbing which has been removed. I put mine in the end of one of my K&N's.
It is a common sight, a bunch of guys around a Rocket, doing whatever is needed to make it perform at its best, and most of the time is my bike the one always falling apart, they get to put it back together
