As I reside in Colorado, I would not recommend late Sept or Oct unless you have Snow tires on your bikes. Especially if you plan on hitting some of the passes. Could be 80 degrees or it could be 20. Snow and Motorcycles not a good mix. Just saying.
Either way I'll be there.

Well hell it doesn't need to be a choice for the poll then. I don't know anything about the weather out there. I was trying to avoid the hot temperatures and peak rates of the motels/hotels.

Mully, the problem is that Colorado is not your normal everyday state, it is worse than Oklahoma weather wise

If it isn't snowing there, there is a good chance for some white stuff in Alberta at that time.
