I have the standard white air filter that comes with the TTS supercharger. I cant believe that it dosent need oiled. Is it the type that does not need oil ( like in your car) . Also wouldnt a K&N oil type filter be better. And also if you dont run an oiled filter what about rain? I have seen chrome covers but I dont know where to get one.

Next question is about the Check engine light. First let me say this ... "I dont actually care"

However, if someone has figgured out how to make it go off I would love to know..

The K&N above is a great filter for the SC... optional cover helps waterproof it. It has the chrome top, but you will need to heat the base rubber a bit to stretch it onto the SC intake.

Sounds like you're running with your MAP sensor disconnected from vacuum. I'm willing to bet that Wayne at Tune Boy will put in a MAP sensor parameter rather than disconnect the MAP sensor in TuneBoy. Read: http://www.r3owners.net/showthread.php?t=3289&highlight=map

Does the Rocket III have a MAF? I run a dry filter in my turbo charged car because the oiled filters will ruin the mass air flow sensor causing it to throw a CEL.

No it does not have a MAF sensor.

I run a K&N on my F150 with a cold air intake. I have had it on for over 60,000 miles and have cleaned and re-oiled it a few times and it hasn't fouled the MAF sensor that is about 12 inches down stream.
