question about scangauge

does the scangauge work with the r3. I am looking for something to tell me coolant temperature and this seems like an awesome solution. are you satisfied with it? since the roadster has the same style ecu as the touring it should work right?? i just dont want to sink $170 into something that isnt going to work...

The Scangauge works just fine with the R3. It plugs into the OBD2 connector under the seat. In addition to the various readings it gives you the ability to read and clear DTC codes. I routed the cable under the tank and picked up a second cable to easily use the unit on my cars when needed.
