Just came across these on the internet. Looks like a better alternative than the back fender.

LOVE it! Seems to extend about six inches further back than the OEM.

Original is matt black.

I've missed many memos over the years so a few questions if you will bear with me:
So 'Hugger" is another name for a fender?
And this one just extends the length a bit?
Its purpose is to protect the bike more so than the rider's back?

A hugger is usually fitted to a sports or naked sport bike.
It hugs the tire closely, hence the name.

And conceived for racing aero effects and marketing.
