That first shot looks kinda like a pineapple in a vague sort of way. Maybe we should foam the tires and forego the air entirely. I'm glad we have the soft limestone gravel on our road.
Is that the plug kit that works kinda like a rivet gun? I was wondering how good they worked. There is also a kit that uses CO2 type cartridges to inflate a tire.
Yes it does wilbur-t, there are 2 different styles by Stop & Go that use a rivet type plug which seem better than the rope type plug since the head expands inside to cover the hole and keep it from coming out.
Agree with Paul. Occasional anxiety now raised to a permanent alarm level .
Flat-curing spays can provide a temporary fix . Although not necessarily a permanent solution. Repair kits such as described above are just an illusion IMO.
Just IMAGINE yourself with your disabled Rocket along the road, discovering all these repair bits and pieces all at once, deciphering the "how to?" instructions (so simple on paper and so unrealistic and irritating in reality) and eventually screwing (so to speak ) around with the actual repair operations.
I'd rather recommend subscribing to a dial-up road break-down/towing service.
In any case: "The road is rocky but it won't be rocky long" (Gene Vincent, 1957)
