Hi,
I have recently changed oil on my own in my 2020 Rocket R, i could not get the aluminium gaskets so I used copper ones. Because the oryginal gasket is quite thick, I used two copper gaskets for each plug. After the change i started the motor up, looked for leaks, did not notice anything. I went away for a week, got back today, drove into the garage with my other bike and noticed a small stain (about 3 - 4 cm) of oil under the engine. When I looked under the bike the were drops of oil on 2 out of 3 plugs. First thougt was that I have not tightned the plugs enough - id did up to spec with a torqe wrench. What was stange the oil both on the floor and on the plugs had the color of the old oil… The new oil is motul 7100 which is red, and the oil under the engine and on the plugs definetly was not red. Any ideas what could have gone wrong?
