Oh god it's NOT another oil thread

Wix filters? They make one for synthetic oil. Way back in 05 took the stock filter off of a Bonneville and cut it open. Took a Wix filter and did the same. Guess what? Both identical. One cost $15 dollars the other $8 dollars. Did the same for the Rocket. Could be wrong on this but believe the filter on the Bonneville's are the same as the Rocket. Same size and part number. Never had a issue with the Wix filters. Can be purchased at just about any auto parts store. No glamour or big scientific study just something that works rather well. Bonneville had well over 100,000 miles with no issues. Rocket has 55,000 no issues. Good tattle tale on the Rocket was the Cam ladder. 50,000 miles Smooth no grooves at all meaning the oil is getting were it is suppose to when it is supposed to. Works for me ;););););););)
