Nothing like an up- beat riding buddy

I'm trying to get to Spokanistan sooner than that Bull. Work had me on the calander this fll then it moved to Dec now to Spring. I should be there for a week of work and I plan on taking the weekend for myself to visit anyone who will sit a spell. Maybe head down to see @RocketRoger and you too if I can.

Hey Buddy, this sounds like the start of a PLAN!
I'm always down for a run to the Tri-Cities to see Roger and Teri @RocketRoger . :D
Perhaps get @Bob R to ride down there as well.
Let me know when your plans are secure and I'll post something on the Rocket Owners Northwest thread.

I've got you covered should you drift through the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area, captain jack!;)

Well bull, I think one day I'm gonna have to make the trip, & when I do I want loads of help in getting around.(BBQ's too) Oh yeh, beer too.

You come to the Northwest area and I shall indeed toss out the red carpet!

Humans are wired to fixate on a target, thats how our ancestors could (and still can, sorry creationists) swing through the trees at break-neck speed. We would chase a target (the next branch to grab) but not at the speeds that exist on a motorcycle but the principle is still the same.
Everyday I ride into my forecourt and have to roll the bike around 180 degrees in a very tight space, about as tight as it gets on a Rocket with the feet up. When I was trained we would turn the head almost over the shoulder to fixate on the end on the turn (actually the instructor said look at the sky as a means of emphasizing to not look at anything), not the bits in between. If I lapse my target fix and look at the concrete pillar that I am trying to avoid I almost always miss the full turn as a result. I think the hard thing is to trust our brains ability to micro-mange all the input, balance etc required to achieve the outcome.

Well whichever side of the US I begin or end, I seem to be covered by TriumPhill & 1olbull, I wonder how many could guide my between the two? I really would love to do the trip, never know, one day I may rock up.

... and if or when you do, we'll be at the ready to roll out the red carpet, Captain.
