Some of you may have read that I have once again had the high revving problem at Idle. I have had the bike to the dealer where they replaced the TPS & it has been fine since, so I live in hope. However the bike was first registered in Sep. 2009, the old TPS taken off was the old version with the black drive pickup, the new one blue. Can anyone tell me when the upgrade came in, I thought 2007 which predates my bike by 2 yrs.If this is the case then I reckon this last job should be free. Any views out there?
Since cleaning the crankshaft sensor & now getting the TPS done the bike is running so well I cant keep of it, need to finish now the traffic lights are changing.:)

Mine is acting up again. 15k miles on the old black one and 40k on the new blue one. Picked up a new TPS last week and need to fit it this weekend. Done the crank sensor, cleaned the throttle body linkage. Returns to normal after a restart. Classic TPS symptoms.

My 08 Std has Black one in it .... touch wood still working fine after 44,000km, but I have an insurance policy I bought a Blue one (just in case) and sat it on the shelf in the garage so now my black one will probably never play up:rolleyes:

My black TPS lasted 94,000 miles until giving up the ghost. Got a new blue one in last month, bike has been running great since.
