Hey guys, my name is Jesse. I have been wanting a rocket for awhile now any I finally got one. I am the proud owner of a 07 r3 classic that is bone stock with 1400 miles on it. I also own a 03 Kawasaki z1000 and a 03 Aprilia Mille that is stripped down at the moment being converted into a streetfighter. This winter I am looking to unlock the power on the Rocket and I think this is the place to help.

Welcome to the site from Ohio. You can find an exhaustive collection of mods for releasing the restricted power in your bone stock r3.

Welcome from Tulsa Jesse, make yourself at home

Welcome from Virginia. There are definitely some big bellies around this site.

Post where you are located. It helps a lot with help sourcing parts and mods.

Welcome from Cypress Texas. Have fun with the new ride, and hang on.

Hey Bigun,
glad to have you with us.
1400 miles? man that's still brand new.
Where to start.....
I will warn you, doing mods is addictive,
oh, you already know that tho don't you.
Where to start, I'd get a better horn for safety purposes.
Then loose the cat box and plastic plumbing.
(catalytic converter and air intake housing.)
While you're throwing all that junk away,
might as well take those secondaries out and toss them too.
Get yourself a Gi-Pro w/ATRE
for your first "real" mod.
It's cheap and you'll be doing wheelies anytime you want.
If course you'll need some K&N's for the intake.....
Next you'll need to alter your fuel mapping.
I use the Dobeck, but most folks use the free tune mapping,
all that takes is a knowledge of things computer and a cable.
That's beyond me, so I use what I know..
That should get you started and give you some threads to look at
to get you started on unleashing your beast.
Congrats on going your own way,
and WELCOME to the site.
