Firstly Welcome
I have the std bags with the inner bags for conveniance when on trips, but while hooning around town I hated having them there and it is a 7 bolt per bag to remove so I bought a set of Stainless Steel Aussie made copy of Ghost Brackets mounted direct to the bag , no more frame work, now I come home from a trip and turn the key in the lock and of they come till next trip, I have the touring screen and the fly screen they both use the same mounting kit so that is only a ten minute job to change. All up about 12 minutes to change from Tourer to Mean Street Thug, then just change Attitude from Civilised Touring Cruiser Rider to 18 Year Old Hoon and your done (that takes about 10 seconds) full transformation 12minutes and 10 seconds:D

Hey Hanso, those brackets sound like what I want. Where from and how much? Love the bags when I need them, but not all the time.

Just wanted to introduce myself, new owner of 05 Rocket here in Tennessee. Just wanted some input I am looking for saddlebags and windshield. What are the best looking bags on a rocket? Thanks for any help
The best looking bags IMO are color matched corbin beetle bags. They look great but they do cost $$$.

didn't you notice the otherday that the bags weren't on .... oh thats right you were blown away by the tyre that fills the whole rear end, man she hung well to down the Clyde...... oops sorry back to topic the brackets are from Biblebar in QLD cost me $199 including $20 for postage including postage (you might hear people say thats more than Ghost brackets but GB are powdercoated and will eventully rust here on the coast ) :D
