Welcome, youre gonna have to open it up so it depends how familiar you are with that. How do you know thats the problem?

I went from first up to second.and my gear lever went sloppy.managed to get home in second.had a look at the detent spring that's fine.had the front case and sump of.theres no debris.its clean as a whistle in there.
