Hi folks, Im Sean. I'm turning 40 soon and I wanted to buy a Rocket 3 for myself to celebrate my milestone.

I'm from Woodbridge, ON, Canada. I'm currently doing research on the kinds of mods I can do to the motorcycle to make it work well for longer rides - 500km++.

I'd love to hear from real owners and read/learn from their experiences in owning this beautiful machine.

I currently own a 2003 VStar 1100 Custom and i've had this motorcycle for over 10 years.

I look forward to being an active member of this community.

WELCOME! from Miami, FL. Almost any large displacement bike can be made into a long distance machine... It just depends on your stamina. I treat it and train like an extreme sport. At 53, I just concluded a 3 riding day 2350 mile trip... and my R3T road like an adrenaline dream. Enjoy the adventure... AND welcome to 40.

I've still to decide on what year. I'll be doing some hard research over the next few months on all the pros and cons. Any input is welcome!
