I am back for a second tour with this group after a long absence and apparently forgetting my original credentials. I ride a 2005 Rocket, unmodified except for Triumph bags. For others with the original bike, what oil are you comfortable using? I use 40w (10w40). Seems like 30w would also do.

Greetings.... same here. Ride a 06, just did proper pipes and what not. Watch out for 2nd gear issues.
I'm run the 10w-50. Imo unless your winter riding just run 10w-40
