Neutral light

Trying to install an Acumen DG8 gear indicator on the R3T, but for the life of me I can't work out how the neutral light on the dash works. The manual is next to hopeless with details on the dash connections but having metered the pins out, buggered if I can find the feed or earth that relates to that light...so I turn to those smarter than I in the hope of a solution

on the r3 the gear selection switch (at the rear of the gearbox by the drive shaft) contains the newtral switch pickup , i think it earths there
