Geared up with laughter reading this bubz. Bloody thing only been one week and miss having a laugh already. You guys have to come down for a visit.

As for the photos.....I see why Hanso keeps talking about painting his yellow. Looks good and great pics.

Rockets are a lot of things,
but pretty isn't one of 'em.
the pictures tho, are.
when I saw the one of the yella Rocket emerging from the flowers,
I immedeatly thought of Spring time calendar picture.
Sorry, that's just how my mind works..
 


I agree rocket3 remind me of agricultural machinery , what I mean is big , pedestrian , different . yet among flowers it find its place ,like a massey ferguson in a corn field .

So what your saying:...The Rocket is a M.....F..... of a big bike? In a corn field or anywhere else!
 
sort of !!!! in a way the general outlook of this bike is totally different from just about any other bike and the closest piece of rolling machinery I can think of it a M-F tractor

M...F... = One big MF bike.
M. F. = Massey Fergason.
M. F. = My friend.
No matter which way you look at it, MF comes to mind.

True beauty is in the eye of the beholder, rockets may not win a beauty contest, but man they are good for the soul.

I have recently discovered that whilst one rocket may not be pretty, put a heap of them together with their pilots, could be more pleasing to the eye if you tried.

At least that's what we all discover in Hervey Bay, no two alike, as individual as the owners, that's style in itself.
 
The local Harley shop owner commented the other day "mate , they sure aren't pretty" .. my reponse was " no but they're handsome though".. Who wants a f#ckin pretty bike anyway
