The mileage seems right with what I've experienced.
I also have an added feature on my bike. The manual cut-off shuts down the engine when the fuel level is nada
. Yeh, I've run her dry twice. One time I was pulling into the gas station and coasted to the pumps
. The other time I was just a block or so away.
However, I have read the fuel pump for the R3 is in the tank and you should not let the fuel level get tool low as the fuel helps keep the pump cool. With that in mind I'm looking to fuel up on long trips at about the 175 mark, lower when just running locally.
Anybody know if this is true or not????
