Sadly they don't do 'Run for the Wall' any more. I participated in that back in 2009 and it was an awesome experience. Everyone should at some time in there life go to the National Mall in Washington DC and walk the various war memorials. Adds some perspective on the cost of Freedom.
Rex and I made it home just now. Hazel and I will be at the Lincoln Memorial in the morning to meet the full Run for the Wall famiky and where the mission becomes complete at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.

Honored a Veteran today, we were eating lunch at a restaurant when my daughter saw an older gentleman wearing a Veteran US Marine cap, she said to me; We need to buy his lunch, and we did. When he finished his meal and went to pay, the waitress said, "Its already taking care of by someone who appreciates everything you did for our Country. He looked around to figure out who paid, he did not find out, he said thank you and left. My daughter, wife and i, have this tradition, to pay for a Veteran's lunch every time we have a chance. We just feel good doing it
