Appart from the busted front wheel and dent in the tank the one in Townsville doesn't appear to have much damage. The bits pulled of it in the box could be stuffed to I suppose. All the bits that stick out are still there except mabey the left footpeg. Has them over rated crash bars that probably protected things pretty well.

Doesn't say wether they are Repairable or Statuary write-offs .. I couldn't see it mentioned anywhere. Insurance companies description would dictate price I reckon.

The townsville one says repairable rightoff under item information. Bike is in Townsville auction is in Brisbane.
Just read the damage say's front, rear, left and right side damage. they only missed the top and bottom.

Anyone got any money repairable write-offs be worth buying as long as they aren't crazy money ( and the frames and crankcases are ok) ... need to pick them up for around $5- $6,000 .

Don't really know Pete but remember to add 12% extra for the auctioneer. I'd say do some research set a limit and don't go over it.

Also after repairing a write off you need an inspection for registration.
The inspection costs $500+gst (a few years ago)
