Kremmen, I don't know if American-made Willie&Max bags are available for you to look at in UK. You may not favor the classic retro-style cruiser bag look. Most of the major aftermarket accessory catalogue/internet mailorder co.s carry them. Thought I'd mention them because their "new" style now has lockable quick-release snap closures. The imitation leather material is weatherproof and easy maintenance. Plastic liner on all four sides and bottom retains shape. Got mine from <Shadetreepowersports.com> for $112 per pair, then cut-off zippered yoke section to mount individually to "ghost brackets" (model ADJ-104 for $149 plus the HV kit $19.95). This combo gives me a weatherpoof, lockable, and 10 second on/off system. Not as stylish as the hard bags mentioned above but for all I run with bags I like the look just fine and all for $282 plus shipping. Just another option.
