Laverda Concours

Dropped by Cleveland showground while out getting sunday paper. Was alot of bikes and people there in beautifull winter sun shine but no bike show. should never cancell anything you want to do because of a weather forcast.

Not good .... bet there were some pretty pissed off punters out there. Not a good move cancelling a show the day before , no chance of getting the word out to the masses. At least at Capt. Bourke park you could have shot up to the Bunker for a couple of cold ones. Maybe they'll decide to go back to the old venue .. that'd be neat !!!

Heard they were hoping to hold it next month. I've had a look on the Laverda Clubs website a couple of times and it just tells you to keep checking the website.

New Date 9th October

Sadly I will not be attending as I will be in Adelaide... ****ation:(

TeamMoto - It's your ride. Make the most of it.

9th October - Laverda Concours rescheduled!
The 2011 LAVERDA CONCOURS has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 9th 2011! Sadly due to weather issues the iconic event was postponed from July 17th - but a new date has been found and the event will be run as planned at the Cleveland Showgrounds.

TeamMoto will be there to support the 2011 Club Laverda CONOURS, with a selection of bikes on display.

The show starts at 8.00am and runs until 2.00pm, with trophies presented at 2.30pm.

The venue change does herald the introduction of $5.00 cover charge per person over 15 years and includes motorcycle parking on site.

As in previous years the CONCOURS will still support the Make a Wish Foundation, still be the premier Concours de'Elegance in Australia ($1500 for Best in Show!) and still be host to the widest variety of motorcycle club and trade displays of any motorcycle event in the country.

With ready access via the Gateway Motorway from the North and South and the Logan Motorway from the West, the 2011 CONCOURS will be the first of a new era with more space available for trade and club displays!

CONCOURS 2010 brought in over 12,000 bike fans with 189 motorcycles entered in a variety of categories. All in all the CONCOURS is a great day for participants, enthusiasts and the kids that the money goes to help.

TeamMoto is excited to be involved once again, so be sure to mark off October 9th on your calendars. For more information on the event, or if you are keen to enter your motorcycle, please click here to visit Club Laverda QLD's website.
