Love the claim that these "add improved visibility at a fraction of the cost compared to HID or incandescent headlamps". Perhaps they mean they're cheaper than buying a replacement bike with those other headlights.
Hi all,
Just went on to the JW Speaker website to find a part number, and saw this on the front page: New Adaptive LED Motorcycle Headlight at J.W. Speaker
Looks rather interesting, particularly if they ever make 5.75" ones.
Just fitted a 7" adaptive headlight to my R3T. The best headlight I have ever had fitted to a motorcycle. Well worth the £550 spent on it. Much brighter than a standard H4 bulb. Much better light pattern than a standard H4 bulb when travelling in a straight line. The high beam is amazingly bright. That compared with the fact that the dipped / low beam headlights stay on when you select the High beam gives you a superior view, lighting up the ground in front of you from close up to very far away all at the same time.
The best bit about these lights is of course the adaptive part. There is just so much more visible road whilst cornering.
If you ride at night I highly recommend these lights. They are well worth every penny they cost.
OOH and they have a funky start up sequence that lets everybody around you know you have something different fitted to your rocket.
I will post up some pictures in a few weeks once I have fitted some JW speaker fog lights to match.
