Just over 600 miles into vacation

I am envious of your trip, flying 7,000 miles or so is just not the same as riding the same distance. Have a great, safe trip.

Clifton AZ.

Sitting here in Clifton AZ. and it's hotter than satan's crib. You guys have got to ride Hwy. 191, formally know as 666. It's got more curves than my intestines.
 
Hwy 191 was 120 miles of continuous curves, non stop. Although some of the curves were so sharp they could have had stop signs on them. I'm sitting in Wilcox AZ. at Micky D's having a coke and getting out of the 98 degree heat...but it's a dry heat

Finally made it here. What a beating. But I'll still take it over a good day at the office!

Sound like a great trip. It's been 23 years since I last rode in Colorado.



Man, I loved that bike. Made love on it a few times, too (but you didn't really want to hear that, did you?)

If you can make it to ride trail ridge road in CO it is worth the trip. PIC of the rocket at about 11,000 feet. on trail ridge road
 
Looks like a nice ride, maybe next year. We'll be pointed in the direction of home from here on out.
