I’m not sure if I’ve completely taken leave of my senses but today a great deal on two Norton Commando Frames led me into an Aladdin’s cave of Britbike treasures and I somehow ended up owning a pile of engines, gearboxes, forks, cylinders, heads, alternators etc., etc. along with a pair of running Norton’s. A 1974 Commando and a sweet 1968 Dominator 650 Super Sport, both needing the usual TLC but the 650 really got me going. Hopefully I’ll be back on my meds soon before I really lose it!

Oh yeah, TO r, you definitely suffer from some sort of malady, but I wouldn't call it insanity. OCD, perhaps or maybe an addictive behavior disorder, but crazy is in the eye of the beholder and from where I sit, I behold that not!

If buying a well priced 750 Commando is the definition of insanity .. better get the guys with the big butterfly net around to my joint pronto... well done I reckon.

Insanity?? I think not....... An eye for great things - oh yeah!!!
Well done mate.

1974. The year I got my driver's license and had posters in my bed room of a Triumph 650 Bonnie with peashooters, a Ducati 650 Desmo and a Norton Commando (and some Levis posters with the best arse I've still ever seen, but that's another story). I wanted them all. Nothing insane about your purchases mate.

Something to listen to as you try to figure out which part goes where...

Well, looks like we are all one big happy family. I see the men in the white coats all the time, nothing crazy about any of us!
