Finally got the first half of work completed on the beast and took her out for a nice long ride yesterday. It was sunny and 70*(19C) yesterday here in Germany and took full advantage of it (about 5 hours worth of Beast Bliss!!!).
Four things of note:
1) The 1770s and secondary removal along with the new tune felt great. Excellent response, much improved sound, and overall very smooth! Think my knee only hit the filter once, but since the floorboard was up at 45* it really didn't have anywhere else to go
2) While at a pit stop on the B48 (Johanniskreuz) saw my first Rocket (besides mine) in Germany. It was a Black Roadster from Worms. If you're on here, PM me, I want to ask about the plate relocation you did...it was awesome!
3) That pesky transmission slip is still there? Yesterday, it seemed to be narrowed down to 2d gear, uphill, soft acceleration through 3000 rpm around 40-50mph(70-80kph) each time. That was the only gear and conditions I got it. Was obviously already accelerating in 2d so it was in gear, it's about a 1/2 second slip out and right back in, just a quick pull on the tranny, let off the throttle a bit and right back on it, no issues. Just don't want it to lead to anything bigger, and not sure I'd like it to happen while passing in a curve

4) The Bridgey back and Avon front are an Excellent combination
Loved the handling improvement so much, I could care less what kind of mileage I get out of them.
