how many k's in one day

I rode to sturgis this year the first day I logged 875 miles (14hrs) second day about 450 miles took my sweet time and did some site seeing. Toured around south Dakota for about a week logged about 800 mile there. Made the return trip 750 miles first day and 575 miles the second day. total trip was 9 days 3450 miles ..... thank god for my air hawk it was a life saver....

seems like the fellas on tourers think 1400+k's is ok....hmmm makes you wonder

perhaps i'll try the air hawk as my gel seat wouldn't allow this man k's....the corbin, well maybe....corbin with air hawk, have to give it a crack

longest single day 15 hrs = 851 miles/1370 km
most miles for me in a season (9 months last year due to ohio weather) = 21,450 mi/34,520 km.
Thats 14,000+ on the R3 and 7,000+ on the other bikes combined. ****!!!! probs another 6 weeks or so until the weather breaks and the riding season will begin in earnest.

If you get an airhawk do not be cheap .... purchase the Airhawk R there is a reason it cost more .... the r is specifically designed for a male rider (Has special cutouts for the man parts makes all the difference in the world) ......

Quick pointer on using the airhawk do not over inflate ....If it is not working for you more than likely you have two much air in it..... they also have a money back guaranteed

I have the Air Hawks,, don't like em at all.. Bikes got Gel Seats, better than Std I guess

We did Monkey Mia to Perth 850 km in one day. 9 hours in the saddle 2 up .. sore bums :D

Hey sounds great....what were you sitting on...(and don't say your arse) ? I did a lap of tassie over 3 days total about 1500k. such a nice ride....thank good I wasn't on the triumph gel seat....my 700 k day was on it and talk about numb, burn, pain....

don't know how our yankee brothers do the 1400+....iron butt bastards.

I still have the stock seat on the '05 standard. I guess maybe I should check out some alternatives but for me it seems that leg position changes via highway pegs and floorboards is quite satisfactory. I would surmise a bit more age and thus decreased circulation will increase the discomfort of the stockie.
