Welcome to the forum. I've got a niece that married an Aussie and now lives in Atherton. She says that she loves it there. One of these days we'll get down there to visit.

Drop in for a beer. Tell your niece that I live near the Peeramon pub, she will know it.

I picked up the bike last weekend and I still can't wipe the grin off my face every time I get on it. It makes the 50k trip to work a pleasure. I'm still going nice and gentle, it's heavy but handles better than some bikes I've ridden that were a lot lighter.

This is my new R3. I'll have the tow bar fitted in a week or two.

That's great! before i retired i used mine for commuting to work, too. what a great way to start the day. come to think of it, the ride to and fro work was the best part of that job. it's the only thing i miss about it, to be sure.
Don't forget to post some ambient pics when you can. make me want to visit.

Just because your retired shouldn't stop you from getting up early in the morning ridding to your favorit coffe house and ridding home again. You can always come up with a good reason for a morning ride.;)

Nice looking Rocket, that's the same one (color wise) that our dealership has for demo rides.

Here are a few shots I took on the weekend from the car. They are all taken 10 mins or less from where I work.
