Hi all,
I'm the Deviant Donkey....
I ride a slightly modified 2005 rocket III and a very modified Yamaha 1100 dragstar...
I live in Andalucía near the Granada mountains.

I use the dragstar for local runs, and the rocket for those longer rides where I need to eat the miles..
but I have to confess I am starting to use the rocket more and more..
Ive done the Pyranees on it, Portugal and most of spain.
The rocket has a custom paint job which I did myself, it has a custom exhaust and has had a performance map from Quantum tuning.
just put on the new Bridgestone Exedra rear tyre, wasn't happy with the metzler... May even try a darkside next as most of the miles are straight line stuff, although I have done booth peg pins!!

Gary: Welcome to the Forum from Sunny (yeah, right, sure) South Florida where, of course, it is currently raining. Beautiful country in the background of your photo. I was in Barcelona a few years ago - absolutely loved it. It had a wonderful city "rhythm" to it. Eating paella and drinking sangria in a little cafe just off La Rambla was an experience not to be missed!

Ahh yes.. Barcelona.. Fantastic place, and ye La Rambla is special too...
Im in Andalucia now, near Granada mountains.. the roads here are superb!

Your photo sort of reminds me of the view from Ronda when the wife and I were there many moons ago.
I drove a Seat all around that area, Marbella, Granada, Toledo, Madrid . . . and loved it!
Based upon my ancient experiences, your Rocket would be the biggest, most powerful thing on the roads of Spain!?

Hi yes, its beautiful here.. andalucia and Granada have some of the best roads in spain, Some would fit in on Top gear.
And yes, lots lot Harleys here, but nothing stands up to the rocket..
