Another newbie from Brisbane

Hey Guys,
Thought I had better drop in and say Hi. Sorry Skip
Live in Brisbane,Australia, had bikes most of my life except for the 20 year stint when the kids came and the toys went............but all good now
Things have gone pretty fast over the last few weeks.
I have more than likely gone about things a little backwards as I have always liked to look & sound of the R3 triple......... right back to the T150 & 160's when I was a youngster!!
Sat on a couple R3's at the dealers over time but never ridden one, So to cut a long story short I brought a 2006 Classic from Melbourne, had it delivered and rode it for the first time to get the registration done in Brisbane.
I couldn't wipe the smile off the dial.......... I came across Big Marty on the forum and rang him straight away......said the wife & I are in for the Harvey Bay trip, arranged a few things for the Auction and headed north.
The rest they say is history........meet some great people there and I am sure some friendships have already started.
