Just joined and thought I'd say hi.......
I'm in a bit of a dilemma really, sold my r3 05 reg about 18 months ago, and bought a brand new tiger 1050 se and put all the toys on it, then realised after 2000 miles it wasn't for me, it did everything too well.... I have a mint Buell M2 Cyclone, and a cam am spyder which I have mad fun on, but now I want another R3 and I really like the roadster, was going to wait for the big NEC show in Birmingham in November to see what new bikes caught my eye......but I don't think I can wait.... I'm looking for a bike that I can plod around on and watch the world go by, something to scare myself on, and something to go touring on......and me thinks it could be the roadster......I've been offered a brand new one straight out the crate, for £12,000 otr.... Also this price would include the fly screen, fog light kit, comfort seat with rider & pillion back rests and rear luggage rack....
That don't seem a bad price to me as the price has shot up since the 15th of Oct
Sorry for the long drawn out intro, but had to tell someone....lol
Gotta see the bike tomorrow as it's the only one they have left, and it's a 6-8 week waiting list.....
Cheers
p.s I'm the most indecisive person you will ever know....I think....Doh....lol

Can't wait until November??? So we're talking 3 weeks?
Just get it. You know you want to.

Welcome from Delaware ......

If you have the means and it's what you want, jump on it and don't look back.

Mine was in the crate coming down on the tailgate lift when I decided to buy. Didn't even get to ride it until I picked it up. I just happened to stop by the dealership on day while I was in Dover, saw the semi trailer unloading crates of motor bikes and the fork lift taking them into the warehouse and stacking them up. Told the salesman what I was looking for and he pointed to the truck and said "that's the only one in the area right now, there's four guys waiting for us to assemble it". I thought he was full of ****, but while I was signing the papers two of them came in 20 minutes apart looking for it. They were not happy with me at all. hehehe

Welcome from Molino, FL and currently Afghanistan. Good luck on the new bike, enjoy riding it while the season lasts. I know what your feeling, mine (the Thunderbird) is on the way and in February or March I'll be ordering the R3T.

Have fun and ride safe.
