Hopefully I can contribute something here in the future once I get an R3. Right now I'm searching high and low to pickup a used roadster at a fair price, if not I'll buy new but dread the thought of financing and dept.
What year did Triumph move the roadsters rearsets back an inch, 2013? Are any of you guys modding your bikes for a more aggressive riding position?

Welcome! Good choice. I see you ride a liter sportbike as well. I own an R1 in addition to the R3. Just a caution: the ****** rockets are crazy fast, but their power is in the higher revs. The Rocket 3 has insane power right from the start.... You'll see.

Welcome from an American neighbor in WA State!
Roadster is a VERY FINE motor that will keep you smiling.

Thanks guys!
PS: Anybody hears of a roadster for sale within a days drive of Ottawa, please let me know.

Welcome Rick from Northern Ontario. I noticed there is a 2011 Rocket for sale in London on KIJIJI CLICK HERE (Hope this is ok Moderators) Low mileage, some accessories and reasonable price.

I've noticed that many used Roadsters are often priced higher than new. You might want to contact some of the Triumph dealers to see if they have any old stock. I got lucky and picked up my new 2012 Roadster last year in London. The dealer had discounted it by $4500 plus they gave me a $500 credit toward accessories. The new price was better than most used ones up for sale at the time.

Regarding peg location, I don't think it's changed since 2010 when the Roadster was introduced.
