Hello from the frozen tundra

Welcome to the site, I'll sit here and wait out winter with ya. Our temps don't compare to yours, but it's cold enough and dark too early (I live in a deer meca) for me to get much riding in. Good to have ya aboard.

Snuff: You're a woose. You need some nipple numbing single digit snow and wind. Then you'll be out riding that bike in the 40's and 50's. It's 13 this morning. That's 'nipple numbing' weather.

Good old Australia is great for that it only 82 deg F at the moment

Bite it.:D

Welcome aboard, if you are lookig to ride just about year round come on down to TEXAS.:D:D

You need to educate Snuff on proper attire or something. I always thought Texans were tough.

Welcome aboard Rotten Apple. I like that, Rotten Apple. Way better than over-ripe banana............

Welcome

RTNAPL. Like Bohica said TX is good for getting in some winter riding in. Like the pictures and am planning on doing the same at mine, and it was even the little lady's idea. Don't know who like's the bike more me or her:D She calls it big daddy.

Welcome..

Glad to have you on board Rotten....great wedding pics...and for the record. Pigger didn't take his wife on a bike ride on their wedding day because he would have looked real funny in the dress.......HMMMM...still does actually.....:D

Hey Flip it was 26 degrees here this morning, too bad my favorite tank top was dirty or I would have went for a ride:rolleyes: The thing I hate most about winter is that it gets dark at 5 friggen 30 and that's when the deer like to come out and play. To bad there isn't a market for dead dear cause I'd be a rich man. Just pick any road around here and you'll find some. I ride in the 50's, just not my favorite temp. I can clean the spring and summer bugs off of my windshield much easier than deer carcus. And beside all of that... I am a woose...but a tough one;)

Hey Silver Bullet, at least I was able to wear white.

Snuff- I just tagged a deer in my truck a couple weeks ago. 11:30am too. My deductable is $500, it did $503 in damage. **** deer left the scene too. I bet he didn't have insurance anyway.

I feel your pain. When I first bought my truck (with bambi killer grill gaurd) I hadn't yet made the 2nd payment on it when a deer hit right behind the passenger door. The dumb ***** (doe) didn't have the courtesy to run into the grill gaurd:(

I have a handle on the bugs versus deer entrails on your windshield. Up here in the depression state it's deer alley too. **** things get hit in the winter, crawl to the side of the road in the bushes and die and then when warm weather comes, the roads are all stunk up with rotten (no offense to our new poster) deer. Nothing like riding on a spring day and passing through a patch of polluted air permeated by rotting deer........:D

I'm back to teaching again. I though I was gonna be able to skate through the winter and not have to do any classes until warm weather. WRONG. I'm doing the outside class from 4pm until 10pm Monday through Friday and 8am until 6pm on Saturdays. Read outside, on the driving range, in the cold and ice and snow. I never thought I'd be wearing a snowmobile suit again, but I am and not for snowmobiling either. I'm too old for this ****.

You need to move down hear so I can teach you the meaning of "retire". And if you still don't get it at least you won't have to freeze your ass off.:)
