Hello from Eastern NC

Hi folks,

Picked up my 2008 Classic (red & white) a few weeks ago and have been getting to know it. It's got almost 400 miles on it now and I'm trying to make 600 before we leave for Daytona on 3/1 (I want to get it serviced b4 we go). I'm almost 46, retired from the USCG (E8) and work in Greenville NC as a full time cop. I'm trying to pull down one more pension before I turn 56. I love to ride and have owned a Kawasaki KZ 750, a Honda 1100 Spirit, a Honda VTX 1300C and most recently a 2005 GL1800A. The wing was purchased too early in life so I sold it and got the RIII. I'm glad to meet everyone! The only upgrade I've done is the license plate relocation. I'l post a pic when I can get to my desktop.

Thanks for your service and welcome to the info place. I don't know what the ratio of standard and classic to touring is but it is nice to have another Classic join in. Depending on your size or weight, shocks seem to be a popular early mod. The bling list is growing so hold on we have our own bling makers on site.

Welcome Big Law, I think I remember you from the Gold Wing Forum (gl1800riders), I to gave up my Wing to get a 2008 Ford Mustang GT/California Special...my wife didn't ride much with me so I kept the 07 R3 Classic and ditched the GW.
