Happy Fathers Day

Back to Topic .... I had a wonderful day. Catherine and I ate a kilo of freshly caught prawns straight off the trawler for lunch. Visited my youngest daughter who's just about to leave on a cruise to Fiji . Went and visited my eldest and her husband and the grandkids.... One awake who Catherine played 7 yr old girls games with. The little feral granddaughter ( the one that resembles me) was sleeping. The great gift of Fathers Day was i was able to give both my daughters advice on dealing with something they both have found heartbreaking , their mother just diagnosed with cancer... Nice to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem... Oven baked silver bream and endeavour prawns for dinner Happy fathers day fellas.

It won't be No Race so relax and enjoy yourself

Yep we all want to make it home alive

We wouldn't leave ya behind

U should be able to keep up with Hanso and Richard but the mighty black rockets might be a bit of a stretch

On the ride out to Burrum I was being a bit hesitant and hanging too far back from the big fella, thats what I meant about keeping up...lol. On the ride home I kept up to him alot better. .

Cath , I always ride at my own pace. I don't care who i'm riding with i won't be pushed faster than i want to ride . If i want to ride slower than others , i'll see them where we are going to. If they are riding slower than i want to ride , again i'll see them where we are going.... Some days you just get a gut feeling to 'not push it today' ... you ignore it at your own peril i reckon.

I couldnt agree more TC.

Endeavour prawns MMMMM Baked Bream MMMMM Sh#t Hungry yet once again

Never a more truer word spoken T/C, riding at your own pace always ensures for a good trip in one piece. Worked with a young bloke once many years ago, had an ambition to be the fasted truck driver known. A few of us kept telling him take your time, don't try and prove your self to any one, didn't listen, jack knifed, snapped the pin, 26 ton of soft soft done the rest.
