G'day from south west Sydney

G'Day Mate, welcome form Elwood, Vic.

REAR END CHOP
I'm currently engaged in major surgery, should be finished next week (if my misses is working out on the road working) coz if she's working at home, she jealous and I'm banned from spending my time with my other wife, my RT3.

NOT a simple fender chop and so far it's taken me 5 full days and perhaps will take another 2 to complete. I have ditched the standard fender, bought a new, perfect fitting great fender for $60 from a trailer fender manufacturer. Called up Sydney at 3:00pm on Wednesday and it was here in Melbourne 8:00am Thursday.
I'm going for the serious radical Mad Max look. But it's an average home handyman project. Bending pipes, or exhaust shops may have them, lots of welding, making a new rear seat pan, upholstering seat to connect to single seat, fitting fender and replacing and connecting lights and indicators. Taken lots of of pics and I'll post some more pics after I have the seat upholstered when I'm done. It looks a bit tall at the moment but when the rear seat is on it should look good. If not, I'll chop a little out of the height until I get the balance correct.
Plasti-Dip
BTW what's your intention with the plasti-dip from Supercheap?

Thanks Roy, hope it all goes well for you with your surgery. That pipe work should be interesting to see the finished product. Maybe more James Bond?
RE; Plastidip I wasn't sure whether I'd like changing some of the chrome pieces for black. So plasti dip was a cheap reversible alternative. I have only done the radiator cowling and the bear claw. Turned out really well, apart from when I screwed the cowling back a couple of the heads grabbed at the plasti and it lifted slightly. The colour match to my bike couldn't be any closer.
