Gas cap won't open at all

With the 1st gen Rockets I like the fact that one key is needed to open the gas cap and run the bike. This is super convient because I know where the ignition/gas cap key is at all times (in the ignition or gas cap)... Since the bike has to be shut down to fuel up (in our province) I know I won't misplace it while fueling or when I go to start the bike after fueling. How many of you have unlocked something, like a shed, only to place the key... somewhere, where it can never be found *^&#@*+... You guys never have this happen to you right???

Same here. Never had another problem after not locking it.

Hmmm...in mine it's on page 78, but I know they aren't all the same.

I never did have an issue with it ever again but I also never locked it again after that. My first service is coming up here next month though I plan to ask. Also ask about why my kick stand is turning purple lol
