Gas Cap Lock

Has anyone else had any problems with their gas cap lock? I have an '07 Classic. The last few times I've filled up I've had to jiggle the key to get it to go in the gas cap, it works fine in the ignition. So far so good, but I can just see me in Maggie Valley next weekend using a canopener to put gas in it. I called the not-very-local Triumph dealer and parts and labor is about $150.

spray wd40 onto key to lube the lock cylinder..before paying $150 for Triumohs' expertise,try a local locksmith to see about repair/replace cylinder..just sayin'
