GPS guages

Tsmith, this is great info, thanks for sharing this.
Can you give some more details about what I need to buy in the way of a bluetooth that attaches to the ODBDII ? to make this work with the Garmin.
Is this a separate item?
Is there a link to this bluetooth attachment?
Do all the other guages shown on the GPS work as well? thanks

All the parts I listed on my 2nd post is all you need. The GPS must be Garmin and have bluetooth capability. The box that hooks to the GPS is also Garmin and sold separately and is called Ecoroute. They have both parts on the garmin website and show witch gps systems will work. The Nuvi 1690 is the cheapest that also has the smart routing to plan custom driving routes. The gauges are customizable to show speed, tach, battery voltage, intake air temp, intake man pressure, coolant temp, timing advance, engine load,... I think Im missing some also, can only show 5 gauges at a time. Also has another screen that shows fuel economy.

not really meant for bikes so I put the ecoroute in a ziplock bag and used a few twist ties around the wire that came out. and in fits nice right by the battery.

Gps

Thanks for the info!
Ok, so the Ecoroute part is what fits in the OBD2 ?

I already have a mount and everything else.
Looking forward to trying it out.
