I did a search but found nothing that speaks to my issue. On my 2015 Touring sometimes after fill up the fuel leaks out from the fuel cap. Also on occasion the fuel cap will vibrate loose. Since you can only tighten the cap so much I dont think undertightening is the problem. There is a funny looking seal in there, is that replaceable? Do I need to buy the internal parts that apparently the snap ring holds in?

I can't get my 08 Touring full enough to spill. If you are able to get it filled above the baffle it can splash it as it heats up overflow.

I have at times filled up too much and fuel has gone under the fuel cap surround the when riding off the wind will suck that bit of fuel out spraying you with it.

I always feel like I should be able to get more in the fuel tank when filling it, but hey I just go with it.
Figure it levels out once get it off the side stand.
Never have sat on bikes when filling them. See others do it, but it just seems like a bad idea.
I have a couple 3/8 inch pieces of plywood I use as pucks on grass and soft roads and sometimes have placed them under the kick stand when filling.
Most I have ever put in the tank is 5.2 gallons US.
Never had it come out on me?
