Don't ride a bike, but got to know this bloke Big Marty on Facebook from commenting on pictures I post quite often. It didn't take long and I met both Marty & Cathy. From that, as we chatted now and then he told me about his pet project Rockets Downunder.
Marty asked me could I take some pictures of his bike, and would I be interested in taking some pictures whilst all the bikes were in Hervey Bay. How could I refuse, especially for such a good cause, so I will be donating my time to take pictures of your bike show.
I have also put together a picture package for your Rockets Downunder weekend with three pictures 1 - 10 x 8, 1 - 10 x 12, & 1 - 16 x 20, for only $35 plus Postage. I will have some pictures including some of Marty, Cathy & their bikes, so you can see the size of the photo's included with this offer.
Hi Fran. That sounds great. See you over the weekend.
Just starting off day 2 of the trip and 1000km to go to Hervey Bay! Well not exactly starting; more like having my first coffee and waiting for Ponters to wake up..........
Had a visit from Hanso a short while ago. He's nicked my gas burner so he can fire up his coffee maker too. See TC, I did need to pack all that sh#t.
Hi Fran and welcome aboard... speaking of aboard .... did Marty mention taking photos of the bikes while we're riding them. Could be done out of a car window or better still on the back seat of one of the fellas bikes. When this was first mentioned i pointed out ( that's what i do point sh!t out ) that stationary shots are easy to get but riding shots are gold !!!... what do you reckon ?

Mate only 1000k's to go, that means if you can lay off the coffee stops, pull your finger out and make a mile, you can be in Hervey Bay by about 6.30pm. Done this sort of K's and more driving interstate.
Oh sorry mate I forgot there's a couple of slow arsed red rockets holding you back.

heh heh heh brings a tear to my eye . . . To the tune of "Red & Black", from Les Miserables - Red - for show to be in the groove!
Black - the dark of Rockets right!
Red - like blood is slow to move!
Black - allows the speed of light!
Red - I feel my soul is sick!
Black - the one that red can't bend!
Red - the color of the dog dick!
Black - the color remaining at the end!
