A rider died here several years ago that was a well respected and liked individual. A yearly memorial ride is now held in his honor.

One could arrange such a thing for your riders over there as individual rides, or ride to cover them all. Its the best way to remember them, IMO.

I was once told "the living are a rare breed of the dead" after my father passed away.
It brought the whole thing into perspective and confirmed for me that life is relatively short given the alternative, so make the most of it while you can.
 
Everybody dies. The question is just if you had fun getting there. More people slip and kill themselves at home every year than die on motorcycles. More people in cars die every year than people on motorcycles. Far far more people die from smoking-induced cancer or plain obesity and heart disease... the list goes on. I'll keep riding until it no longer seems worth it or until the **** hits fan for me.
