First Post for 9/11

as heartbreaking an event as this was 10 years ago, i cant believe the audasity of the three people that had planned attacks again on this very day! To the ones that have been lost, to the ones that were heros, to the ones that will forever leave a mark on our hearts, the same as the oklahoma attack, we remember you an honor you this day an forever!!!!!

never forget, 9- 11

everyone, please make time today to remember

The 343+ firefighters, and all of the other emergency workers who lost their lives on 9-11-2001 trying to save the victims of the terrorists. And for all the military personal who have given their lives in pursuit of those murdering bastards and those who aided and supported them.

The son of the US Ambassador in Australia goes to school with my son - they're in their final year - and they are close friends. He stayed at the embassy Friday night and I picked him up Saturday. The Embassy, which is only about a mile from where I live, is encircled by a white fence. All along the front and down the side were thousands of small flags, mostly US but a pretty large number from other countries, including 10 small Aussie flags. Each flag represented a person who was killed on 911. They made a wonderful yet very moving sight, and an awsome tribute.
