Extra fuel gauge and Trip knob

Hi,

A couple of hopefully simple (ie stupid) questions,

1. Where is the connector for the extra fuel gauge (Triumph option) that can be fitted to the bars? found the connector for the clock. Is it under the tank(front or rear) or behind a side panel

2. Missing the reset knob for the trip computer so bought a new knob thinking it would have a probe attached but now realise that the probe must be broken on the rev counter( tacho) so went to dismantle to have a look but can't get the glass face off, is it a screw or push fitting? thought I would ask before I get all rough with it.

i do not think that knob is repairable
at least i never heard of it being repaired.

Cheers for that. That was what I expected.

Re the fuel gauge had another look and discovered that it must have had the gauge in the past but the harness was cut and the end hidden under the yoke and the plug still attached under the tank hence I could not find an "empty connector". A quick look at wire colours and a bit of tracing and problem fixed. Now only to fix the false reading fuel sender!!
