Painted my engine black last fall with VHT (very high temp) paint. Staying on very well so far.
I guess I like it better than the silver.

I like it! Mine is black and glad of it! Not throwing off on the silver engines, just my preference! I'm up the road off I-26 at the NC/SC state line!

Been there/passed through a zillion times. Didn't realize the train grade up the mountain is one of the steepest around until I read the sign about it while eating ice cream from a country store there last summer.
